Located in the northwest quadrant of Carlsbad, Carlsbad Village is the downtown setting for some of the oldest real estate and homes in the city of Carlsbad. It is also host to the Carlsbad Annual Art Street Faire (also known as “Art in the Village” which is held the second Sunday in August), the Carlsbad Marathon, as well as a bi-annual street fair, dubbed the Carlsbad Village Street Faire, held the first Sunday in May and Novermber.
Carlsbad Village is bounded to the west by the ocean, to the east by Interstate 5, to the north by Oceanside and the Buena Vista Lagoon and to the south by (approximately) the Agua Hedionda Lagoon.
