Village Park in Encinitas
This Encinitas neighborhood is especially a great place to move to if you have children or pets–or simply love outdoor living. The neighborhood is filled with kids of all ages (0-99) and Encinitas is one of the most dog-friendly communities in the world. There are slower speed limits which allow for outdoor play, cycling and driveway basketball games–and folks are out walking dogs at almost all hours of the day. There are community pools and the Parkdale Elementary School is just minutes away –within an easy walking distance for some.
Homes in Village Park were mostly built in the latter decades of the last century, and while more expensive than many in other parts of the country, are still more affordable than many other parts of Encinitas due to it being on the eastern side of the town and a little more distant to local beaches. But Village Park still has the coveted 92024 Encinitas address–and offers both a casual and laid back lifestyle.
